Pledges:
- Achieve an average of 50% womxn’s participation across Truman events, including TruCon, Truman’s annual national security conference, roundtable discussions, and virtual panels.
- All participants in recruitment and selection of new Truman National Security Project members are trained on implicit bias and follow the recruitment handbook guidance, which includes specific questions and candidate scorecards developed by Truman to reduce the influence of bias.
- Implement staff training programs on gender and racial equity to raise awareness about unconscious bias, diversity, and inclusion, including accomplice and anti-harassment training.
