  • Champion the use of inclusive language in the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s written work products and correspondence, including gender-neutral personal pronouns.
  • Support the agency’s outreach and recruitment activities and, particularly, those activities that are focused on increasing diversity in the candidate pool for new hires.
  • Champion the activities of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s special emphasis groups, including those of the Federal Women’s Program Advisory Committee and the NRC Technical Women’s Network. These groups put on professional development seminars to aid employees in reaching their career goals, and sponsor events for special emphasis observances to provide cultural awareness and celebrate cultural achievements.
